After the hard drive failure last week, I switched back from Chrome (which leaks memory at a prodigious pace and lacks useful flashblocking tools, but which is generally stable) to Firefox (which leaks memory like Chrome squared, has useful flashblocking software, and is unstable to the point of uselessness). I'll eventually make my way back to Safari (which leaks memory much more slowly and is somewhat stable, but still has weak flashblocking tools, but the first step there involves closing some tabs:

5. Every Firefly Episode in one comic! It's missing some details (needs more Kaylee and Inara, for one), but nails a lot of the tropes.

6. The best (and worst) words in sports. Note that this is a column about usage and aesthetics, so "JaMarcus Russell drops back to pass," doesn't qualify for "worst."

7. A Gen Con take on Tik Tok. It's cute, but the singer actually has too melodic a voice for this style of rap.

9. Bryan Fuller -- of Pusing Daisies, Wonderfalls, and Dead Like Me fame -- is adapting John Christopher's Lotus Caves for SyFy! Of course, the Tripods are the series I'd really like to see adapted, but I'll take anything that returns Fuller to TV.
