Not bothering with recaps anymore, as most of the deals are dead now (although yesterday's deals on Wii Sports Resort, Little Big Planet, and M*A*S*H are still active, as is the old $9.99 deal on the complete Buck Rogers and the cheap copies of World of Warcraft). But there are a few new ones.

There are still lightning deals going on, including a bunch of pet items (litter boxes, pet beds, etc), The Thin Red Line, digital photography books, and more. As always, expect them to go quickly.

The Deal of the Day will net you the complete Battlestar Galactica (the more recent version) for 60% off ($80.99 for DVD, $119.99 for Blu-Ray), or Caprica Season 1.0 for $32.99 (34% off).

Batman: Under the Red Hood is $5.99 (70% off). Ditto Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.

The complete BBC Planet Earth series is $29.99 (63% off) on DVD and $35.99 on Blu-Ray (64% off).

The latest DVD sale offers 45% off or more on The Muppet Show, Alias, Kyle XY, Dinosaurs, Dirty Sexy Money Popular, Samantha Who, The Tick, Eli Stone, and Commander in Chief.

The daily 17 Days, 17 Deals video game deal offers 30-35% off a bunch of Disney games, including Sing It, Toy Story, and other franchises.

Lost Planet 2 is $19.99 (33% off) for PS3 or Xbox360.

The Complete National Geographic on DVD-Rom is $46.99 (41% off).

Grrr

Dear Literature and LATTE:

When I tell Scriviner to remind me later about the $25 paid upgrade to the next version, I don't mean twenty minutes later. And I sure as fuck don't mean while I'm fucking typing. This is the opposite of helpful, and the opposite of anything that would make me want to upgrade.

"We found that this mail system was so easy to use, that executives could use it without reading manuals. "

This is a long video of Steve Jobs talking about the benefits of NeXTStep. Fun stuff, especially if you used NeXT back in the day.

ABC Family is making a series out of Cloak and Dagger, which they will hopefully not sabotage like they did their last incredibly awesome superhero TV series.

I'm not sure how much I'd trust the overall article, since Moon Knight doesn't live in the same universe as The Red Hood. Still, I suspect the info about Hulk and C&D is on the up and up.
