Here's a coupon for a free bagel and cream cheese at Brueggers (coupon expires next week).

Free (legal) copy of Mick Farren's Song of Phaid the Gambler. This is one of those books that I associate with specific memories -- I can recall reading the first half (the publisher split the book in the US) by flashlight on an awful summer camp camping trip when I was 14. It's about the only positive thing I associate with camping. Or with summer camp.

Amazon's Free MP3 of the Day is The Lonely Island's Mama. TLI, for those who don't know, is Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg's band, best known for SNL digital shorts.

Amazon's Video Game Deal of the Day is Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars for the Wii for $34.99 (30% off).

Rue La La (which I've linked to before because they offer nifty sales on clothing and stuff) also has a local feature (called Rue Local). Today's deal in Boston is $25 for $50 worth of stuff at Cardullo's, which is a ludicrously tempting chocolate shop that pretty much anyone familiar with Harvard Square already knows.

Incidentally, reading the fine print, I see how RLL, at least, gets around the MA laws regarding gift cards (in MA, gift cards have to last seven years, making the whole Groupon model questionable). After the November expiration, the certificate is still worth $25, meaning you still have what you paid for the gift card available, but nothing more. I suspect that's what the other places do, too.

Holy crap!

I only just realized that the guy playing Littlefinger on Game of Thrones was Tommy Carcetti! I know the faceblindness is a factor here, but talk about two different characters.
