Today's Adventure Comics find

From Adventure Comics 68, the first Paul Kirk -- arguably the first DC character to find himself retconned*, just six issues later -- explains the Spanish Prisoner scam (which has pretty much turned into the 419 scam these days).



(Yes, I've been reading through all of the Adventure Comics run, which had some nifty stuff in the Golden Age -- this issue had Manhunter, Starman, Sandman, Shining Knight, and Hourman, easily a higher ratio of worthwhile stuff than you'd find in, say, Detective at the time (featuring Batman, Slam Bradley, and not much else worth touching).

*By which I mean, editorially screwed up.
