Livejournal in a nutshell

At THATCamp this weekend, a student from Brown presented this piece of LJ-based performance art called "Distraction." The actual video is from a performance at Brown a few months back, and is a little slow to develop, but by the end, it kind of nicely sums up why so many posts (for me at least) die half-composed. It was also fascinating hearing someone fifteen years younger than me talking about how she and all her friends have basically outgrown LJ. :-)

(Of course, I'm working late tonight to help set up a videoconference with a class in Russia, where LJ has a very different impact.)
