All seasons of Dexter are at least 50% off on DVD or Blu-Ray.

Friends: The Complete Series is $89.99 (62% off).

Neither of those, of course, beats getting Justin Bieber: Never Say Never for $9.99 (67% off).

Other cheap DVDs include Diary of a Wimpy Kid ($9.99/50% off), A Christmas Carol (George C. Scott version) ($7.49/50% off), Phineas & Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension ($13.49/50% off), The King's Speech ($9.99/50% off), Sherlock Holmes ($7.20/64% off), The Blind Side ($5.49/73% off), The Polar Express ($6.49/57% off), Transformers: Dark of the Moon ($10.49/65% off), Fast Five ($10.49/65% off), Seasons 6 of How I Met Your Mother for $19.99 (50% off), and The Muppets Take Manhattan ($5.49/63% off).

John Adams on Blu-Ray is $25.49 (68% off). Planet Earth on Blu-Ray is $34.99 (56% off).

Other nice Blu-Ray deals include Thor ($19.99/56% off, comes with the DVD too, and is only thirty cents more than the DVD version), The Sound of Music Three-Disc 45th Anniversary Edition ($16.99/51% off), Captain America: The First Avenger ($17.99/60% off, comes with DVD as well), and Twilight Saga: Eclipse ($10.49/70% off).

Cheap game downloads include Risen for $5.99 (80% off) and The Witcher (Enhanced version/Director's Cut) for $2.50 (75% off). I've heard particularly great things about the latter.

The Video Game Deal of the Day is on EA Sports games, with 25-33% off Tiger Woods, NCAA Football, Madden, FIFA, and NHL franchise games for all systems. EA also has their games for the Kindle (the regular, not the Fire) on sale for $.99 each.

Elswhere on the consoles, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is $44.99 (25% off) and Saints Row: The Third is $39.99 (33% off). The folks at Giant Bombcast have convinced me that I need to play the latter at some point.

The Kinnect Sensor with three games is once again down to $99.99 (33% off). The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout for the Kinnect is $19.96 (60% off).

In books, Seth Godin's latest manifesto, Poke the Box, is $5 (62% off).

In toys and games, Blokus Junior is the latest game on sale, at $9.99 (50% off), and Dominion: Prosperity joins Intrigue and Cornucopia at $21.99 (51% off). Many of the games mentioned yesterday or in previous posts (all linked at the top of that post) are still active, too.

Finally, in kitchen stuff, the Presto 16-Inch Electric Skillet with Glass Cover is on sale for $29 (52% off) and the Presto ProFry Stainless-Steel Dual-Basket Immersion-Element 12-Cup Deep Fryer is $67.99 (38% off).

You know when I'd go see another 3D movie? When it's one that features two solid hours of watching the Na'vi get barbecued by flamethrowers while I eat my $19.99 bucket of popcorn which is also coincidentally flavored like barbecued Na'vi. Unless that happens you can count me the fuck out. I'll go watch Up without being subjected to the filmmaker's equivalent of a Photoshop lens flare.

The Oatmeal nails it. I hate 3D. Hate it with a vengeance. Will not pay for it, and will choose not to see a movie if the only option is seeing it in 3D. I haven't enjoyed a 3D movie since The Muppets 3-D at Disney, and that benefitted from good writing and a short running time.
