Some nifty sub-$10 Blu-Ray deals today:

The Neverending Story is $5.49 (73% off). Interview With the Vampire is $7.99 (47% off). March of the Penguins is $9.49 (53% off). Coming to America is $7.99 (53% off). Ghostbusters is $7.99 (60% off). Batman Begins is $7.49 (63% off).

On regular DVD, the underrated Chronicles of Riddick is $3.73 (75% off).

In games, The Black Eyed Peas Experience for Wii or Kinect is $29.99 (40% off). Remember, you're supposed to play this game for good luck on January 1, according to ancient Jewish superstitions that somehow migrated to the southern US. Saints Row: The Third is $34.99 (42% off). No superstitions surround this one.

The PS3 New Owner's Kit (with a controller, HDMI cable, etc) is $49.49 (29% off).

I took the jar of change (minus quarters, since those get used for occasional parking needs and are still spendable enough on their own) to the Coinstar machine, where it spat out a $39 Shaw's card that cut our weekly grocery bill down nicely.

The fun part about the Coinstar machine (well, one of the fun parts; just dumping the change in and seeing the numbers go up is fun) is that it weeds out the non-US currency.

The leftovers from the big jar:

Two Canadian pennies.

One Canadian dime.

One UK 5P coin.

One Euro one cent coin.

And one restroom token.

I have no idea where the last one is from, or how we ended up with it. Unlike the others, it's really not the size or shape of a typical US coin. Nor can I recall being in a place that used restroom tokens.
