A new offer that's worthwhile if you're planning on spending at least $100 at Amazon any time soon: Load your Amazon Gift Card account with $100, and they'll add $5 on top of that. Not surprisingly, this is a one-time-per-customer offer (and for people reloading their balance for the first time, but since I don't know anyone who reloads their own balance, I'm guessing most folks are eligible).

I'm not blown away by most of the daily deals today, but one of the Kindle deals is on The Very Best of Tad Williams for $2.99.

Other good Kindle deals: Pratchett's The Wee Free Men is $4.99, while The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents is $3.99.

And in Kindle/Comixology graphic novels, Vision Vol. 1: Little Worse Than A Man, Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat! Vol. 1: Hooked On A Feline, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Vol. 1: Squirrel Power, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Vol. 1: BFF, Spider-Woman Vol. 1: Baby Talk and The Mighty Thor Vol. 1: Thunder In Her Veins are $2.99 each. That's some dirt-cheap and really good Marvel stuff.

In kitchen goods, Amazon's got a couple of sales on their Amazon Basics (their house brand), including their AmazonBasics 16-Piece Cafe Stripe Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 for $21.80 (18% off) and their AmazonBasics Digital Kitchen Scale with LCD Display for $9.64 (12% off). Even at the regular prices, the AmazonBasics stuff tends to be good for folks looking for good cheap kitchenware, but the discounts make them extra nice.

In TVs, the TCL 32S3800 32-Inch 720p Roku Smart LED TV is $169.99 (about $60 below Wal-Mart and other dealers).

In toys, the Ever After High toys are on sale, with some as low as 65% off and a lot of them under $10.

And finally, in MP3s, Mozart vs Beethoven: the Ultimate Battle of the Masters, a 100-song MP3 collection is $.99, a damned nice way to get a ton of classical music into your collection.
