Okay, I know that I haven't watched Smallville in years, but having read the spoilers for the season finale, I can only conclude that the show is now written by manatees.

That, sir, is an insult to the noble manatee.

It would, however, be fitting for the show to be their revenge for years of running them over with outboard motors.

I also stand in defense of the manatee - they have NEVER watched the show! They I agree they might be out for some revenge. :)
