Yet another KOL-like game

For those looking for yet another KOL-like game, there's Paradox: The Musical. It's still in public alpha, but it's got some fun elements (and, of course, it's free).

And yes, they do offer referral awards, so I can't say I'd object if you used my link. :-) But even if you don't, the game's fun. Not KOL, but better than some of the others I've seen.

Me too! I got through the noob quest, but that was about it (and I even got beat up a few times there).

Have you tried Improbable Island? It's pretty new and a lot of stuff is still in the process of being added to it, but it is both British AND kind of hilarious.

I managed to say to someone "I just killed and ate the pope," for example. :)

Just joined. Any game that offers foetid Midget Brothels (and a wonderful setup process) is worth checking out, at least. Thanks!

(Aside: I'm glad you posted this as well, because I'd completely forgotten your KOL name, and there's a regular in the c/games channel by the name of Crystalline, and every time I see her log in, I have to remind myself that she's not you.)

Funnily enough, most places I'm astarinel -- I purposefully named this journal something else so that people familiar with that online handle wouldn't automatically know this is me. :)
I also haven't played KoL in for-freaking-ever. The game got somehow too big and complicated for me and every time I log in I feel overwhelmed by the content I haven't explored and log right back out.

II specific, feel free to join the clan I'm the head of -- Heart of Gold. You'll get the clan buff that we've been working on intensifying, and you can ask people who are better at the game than me for any advice or anything there.
