The headline at The Live Feed reads: Did Fox blunder moving 'Fringe' to overstuffed Thursdays?"

Yet the article does not, as one would expect, merely consist of the word "duh."

(Seriously, this whole "logjam on Monday and Thursdays, nothing on Tuesdays" thing is really beginning to irk me.)

Amen and amen. Although I don't watch Fringe, sinanju and I have 2 season passes on the TiVo (we have that can record 2 things at once) every hour from 8 to 11 on Mondays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays? One prime-time show. Wednesdays? One prime-time show. They're just abandoning Tuesdays and Wednesdays to the smaller cable channels.

Tuesday is double NCIS.. I find Wednesday to be the big hole with no shows in it.

Since Phoenix doesn't get FOX without cable, Tuesday has been a total tv wasteland. I tend to sleep in before getting ready for work...

The same thing happens over here - all the shows congregate around the 9-11pm slot on Thursdays. Sometimes it is almost impossible to keep up, wven with the various +1 & +2 channels (same as the base channel, but running one or two hours late) AND being selective about what we watch where so we can record one programme on the VCR off the Freeview box in the bedroom.

Seriously guys, lighten up - if you put good stuff on Tuesdays, we would watch TV on Tuesdays (OK, Tuesday 9pm is Chuck at the moment, so not too bad, and Warehouse 13 is on at the same time, but SciFi has a +1 channel, so I can watch it then)

Some people were surprised when NCIS managed to reach #1 in the ratings for the week, but well . . . there's nothing else worth watching on at 7pm/8pm on Tuesday nights. Whereas CSI has competition as do most other popular shows.
