Life with 'song and Adam
Jan. 9th, 2010 11:20 amI got one of those offers in the mail giving me the opportunity to subscribe and get a bunch of information cards every month. As a kid, I subscribed to the ones about sport and animals, and as an adult, I admit to having had recipe card subscriptions about ten years ago.
But this one is a "New Age" series of cards. Naturally, we had to snark at some of them. The samples included "Casting Simple Love Spells," "Discovering Your Guardian Angel," and "Your Special Friendship Number," and the contents were every bit as impressive as you'd imagine.
(Aside: We're currently watching season 5 of Angel with Miss Kid, and the other night we hit this great bit:
Anyway, one of the cards is about crystals.
Song: I know what to do with crystals! I'd give them to
kythryne and she wraps them in wire and I wear them. That's what you do with crystals!
Me: I think the Human Torch has a different idea of what you do with crystals.
(Yeah, geek humor, but it's a staple of our household.)
