Here's the second full trailer for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. It looks like they remembered that Freddy's at his best when he's scary, not when he's some sort of practical joker.
Of course, the trailers for the remake of Friday the 13th made it look like it wouldn't suck, too, and we all know how that turned out.

Date: 2010-02-26 01:48 pm (UTC)As for Freddy, that's what I always loved about the originals... Freddy's (and really Englund's) sense of humor. It brought something different to the series when compared to the other horror genre series.
That said, I actually enjoyed the F13 remake. Not great or perfect but fun for what it is. And Bay's TCM remake is one of the very best remakes. That's coming from a guy who has the original TCM in his top 10 fav films of all time.
