The Asylum -- the high-end production studio known for quality movies like The Da Vinci Treasure, Snakes on a Train, and The Day the Earth Stopped -- is making Mega Python vs Gatoroid for the Network Formerly Known as Sci-Fi. And they've cast Tiffany and Debbie Gibson on opposite sides* and will have them fight.

Now if only they can get Robin Sparkles to appear in the inevitable sequel ("Mega Python vs Gatoroid vs The Übertoad," of course)


*Yes, there are really "sides" here.

They've both been in other recent Network Formerly Known As SciFi Original Film - I believe both produced by The Asylum. So if nothing else they know what they're getting into. :)

The Asylum has been keeping our MST3K night supplied for months...I'm actually kind of looking forward to this.

Deborah was in "Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus" recently. She's so into the cheeseball factor on the films. :) If you have Netflix you can stream it from them. It's one of those deliberately so bad it's awesome films.

and for Tiffany also become a Celeb Reality star.

and as mentioned Debbie was in one of these already. Tiffany was as well.

Having seen neither I wonder if this is like part 3 or 4...
