And so it goes
Aug. 17th, 2010 02:06 pmHey, remember the brief shining moment when sports journalists called the crime that Ben Roethlisberger was accused by its proper name (terms used included "rape" and "sexual assault")?
Well, former journalist and now-apologist Peter King is back with a look at Roethlisberger, and by the way, Ben was apparently justaccused of "sexual impropriety."
"Sexual impropriety," incidentally, is the term usually used for when, say, a boss sleeps with his or her employee, or a doctor with a patient. It's a violation and a bad thing, but it ain't even close to what Ben was accused of. I wonder if Frank Luntz or a disciple has been hired as a consultant to try to improve Roethlisberger's image.
Edit: And for those who don't remember, King's been Roethlisberger's official apologist for a while now.
