Tuesday's post has The Princess Bride, Lie to Me, HIMYM, Supernatural, Burn Notice, the Blu-Ray Watchmen, and more, is still worth checking out, as is Monday's post with Blu-Ray deals, Glee, Dollhouse, and a $3 MP3 credit (which remains one of the best Amazon BF deals). Every single post has a ton of cheap DVD deals, including a ton at the $3.99-$5 price points.)
Lightning Deals today are comparitively sparse, but worth checking out. The best one, imho, is the complete Prisoner (the original series, not the awful remake) for $19.99. That one will be hitting at 7:30PM EST. Other good deals include the complete Knight Rider (the original again) for $39.99 at 8:30AM, MacGruber for $7.99 at 12:30AM, and season 1 of Nurse Jackie for $7.99 at 7:30PM. There will, of course, be non-DVD deals, including LCD TVs, lots of kitchen knives, jewelry, and The Complete Far Side.
Amazon's $1.99 MP3 albums today include Dark Side of the Moon, as well as albums by John Mayer, The National, The XX, and Mavis Staples. Although they're not highlighted, other $1.99 MP3 deals include Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster, LCD Soundsystem's This is Happening, Robert Plant's Band of Joy, and Spoon's Transference.
There's a free song from Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the new version of Dream Child.
Amazon's got 28-packs of AA or AAA Duracell batteries for $9.69, reduced to $8.24 if you choose Subscribe and Save (which you can then cancel). That's $.29 per battery, which is about as cheap as it gets.
