I'd say "don't ever change," but it's clear that you've already got that covered.

(Warning: Plot description could potentially be triggery if, well, you find Anthony's non-Xanth plots triggery.)

So this one's gonna have a five year old "seducing" an older guy too, huh? Kind of the folloup to Firefly (I think that's the title. I've heard about it, but for some strange reason, never read it). Blergh.

I note there is no major publisher attached to this one. I wonder why. :,

I actually liked Piers Anthony when I was younger. I particularly enjoyed the first few of the "Xanth", "Cluster", "Adept" and "Incarnations" books. As each series went on though, they seemed to get weaker and weaker, and over time, I just lost interest and simply stopped reading them. At the same time, I started noticing a disturbing undercurrent to his writing (that either wasn't there in his early books, or else I was just too young to pick up on it).

I love that the Amazon tags for the book include "wtf," "are you kidding me," "ohpiersanthonyno," and "and i thought in the barn was bad."

What. The. Hell.

I still love the Incarnations series and the first few Xanth and Adept books, but all his new stuff is icky at best.

Firefly was the end for me, too. Never even finished the book.

I'd 90% left Anthony after Incarnations of Immortality, that had a federal judge waiting through time so he could have sex with a 14 year old girl, who was now "legally" 18, but still a minor.

But, Firefly was so over the top I tossed all of his books in the trash.
