[Previous deals: Monday (Man with No Name, Three Stooges, Nerf, Easy Bake, lots of DVDS), Tuesday (Muppets, Blu-Rays, Crockpot), Wednesday (tons of TCM classic movies, X-Men, Rocksmith).]
I'm teaching in a few hours, so will be hunkering down to make sure I've got my ducks in a row. But there are a few deals worth noting:
The Deal of the Day is the Stanley Kubrick Essential Collection for $31.49 (58% off). It's got all of Kubrick's great films, as well as Eyes Wide Shut, and is a damned fine collection.
You can also get the complete Gilligan's Island for $39.99 (65% off). Note that this is the complete series, but lacks movies like the Harlem Globetrotters crossover. Also, Gilligan's Planet does not appear to be available on DVD. This is a loss for everyone.
The Harry Potter deals continue, as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 has dropped even more to $3.99 (80% off)!
The latest Lego deal is on The Captain's Cabin (from PotC), for $10.77 (38% off).
Finally, although it's not yet on sale, it's worth noting that the preorder for Douglas Huluck's Sworn in Steel: A Tale of the Kin (coming next June) now includes release day shipping. That makes me damned happy, as I really liked the first book (which reminded me of the early Vlad novels and of Scott Lynch's Locke Lamora series.
