Props to Scott Brown
Jan. 18th, 2012 09:06 amAs far as I can tell, he's the only one of the three MA folks who represent me in Congress who has come out against SOPA and PIPA (see his tweet here).
No word yet from John Kerry (who I suspect is fully in the pocket of the MPAA and their war on freedom), or Ed Markey (whom I've emailed, but not heard back from).
And no, it would be disingenuous of me to suggest that I'll go quiet today in protest, given how busy work is. That said, any and all social media posts will be about this topic.

US Rep Jared Polis (D, Boulder) He's a Democrat from Boulder. Yes, of course, he's come out (well, yes, he is an out gay man also) as against SOPA and PIPA.
US Senator Mark Udall (D -- from Boulder). This is the man who still helps the women's health clinic where I used to moonlight fundraise; he's been doing that since he was a US Rep (Polis got his job after Udall went for the US Senate). (Abortions are performed there, btw.) Udall has announced his opposition publically.
US Senator Michael Bennet (D -- not from Boulder) is a PIPA co-sponsor, but lately he's been having second thoughts. I wrote to him today.
