We're snowed under. But the power has stayed on, and we've got food for the humans and cats, as well as internet, and no reason to leave the house until Monday.

We watched Chronicle last night, which is amazing and damned fun, and possibly the first argument in favor of found footage movies (not counting the hybrid found-footage film Session 9). You should watch it.

there is something kinda freeing of knowing "hey we are stuck here" We have the same food and treats and work to do so we can be productive and that is good.

I saw it after I saw Chronicle and you totally can see how much Max Landis loves superhero comics.

Kind of bummed out that Hollywood rules applied to all the characters with the black guy dying and teh poor kid from the abused family turning evil.

I did (before Chronicle). I'm more bothered by the killing of the black character (especially since I've already seen that actor die tragically before); the abuse cycle narrative is at least one that I find compelling (although the ability to overcome the abuse is something I'd like to see, too).
