So, it's been over a month since the end of Google Reader was announced and any loyalty I had to Google was thrown out the window.

I figured I'd give the other players in the field some time to ramp up their offerings.

I've exported my data to Newsblur, Netvibes, The Old Reader, and Feedly. But not one of them is a tenth as slick as Reader. Frankly, they all suck.

Frankly, what I want is a clone of Reader (which TOR was supposed to be, and isn't even close to; it's actually the worst of the options). Baring that, I'm probably going with NetNewsWire. But I figured I'd ask the hivemind if anyone's found anything else that works. From screenshots, it looks like Tiny Tiny RSS might fit the bill, but I do not have the time or tech chops to configure it (and it's not one of the out-of-the-box options Dreamhost offers). But is there some other service out there that actually offers the Google Reader Experience (noting that sharing, although lovely, isn't half as important as replicating the interface)?

I like Reeder, but that's not web-based, so may be a dealbreaker.

I decided to throw money at the problem and have been using Feedbin off of Pinboard's recommendation. Fast, updates feeds promptly, extremely simple. Only thing I'm not crazy about is that the short preview which GReader has like their email is in a separate column. So you've got three columns: listing of subscriptions by feed, preview, then the article. I was concerned about it being cramped, but even on my netbook I have no trouble reading. One thing I've noticed is that embedded videos are stripped out so it you get a lot of those in your subscriptions, that might be annoying. I'm really happy with it, especially compared to The Old Reader.

I've pretty easily adapted to Feedly. It gives me the full article option and it's wicked easy to get to the websites (double bonus for easiness from my android app). I also like the save for later function and find it a bit easier to use than the favorite option GReader had.
