I believe that wrapping presents is a genetically inherited talent, much like rolling your tongue. And some people will never be able to do them well. And I'm one of them. The point being, I just finished wrapping four of 'song's birthday presents for Saturday (all of them books, with nice easy rectangular shapes). And they all look like crap. And re-wrapping won't help. I'm just genetically deficient. I really want to commission a scientific study on this. I need to justify my incompetence.

Ummm... if it's that important to you, buy some paper and I'll wrap them for you (though I doubt they'll look much better).

If I were 'song, I'd just be impressed that you wrapped them. I don't know how many times boyfriends have handed me presents still in a paper bag.

A paper bag is appropriate for wrapping bottles of Thunderbird, I suppose. Unless you're talking about one of those gift bags, in which case I please guilty to using them all the time.
