Man, I so disagree with this. Everyone knows that the intelligent and aware folks in horror movies -- the ones who understand the genre -- are killed off really early, before they know they're in a horror flick, or by something that's unavoidable (usually the stupidity of another character). The exception being Jamie Kennedy in Scream 2, who briefly forgot that he was intelligent. So, I know I'm a dead man if I ever set foot in Haddonfield, IL, or near Camp Crystal Lake.
