Of Friends lists and stuff

So, looking through the folks who have added me as a friend, I can account for most everybody:

shadesong is be One True Love, Reason for Being, etc. And I pulled her into LJ in the first place.

melintur, tikimama, ariadnesthread, bellacrow, bethynyc, deus_x, dlscanlon, gothwalk, kajivar, mousegrrl, one_woman_army, phantom_wolfboy, ravenswing90, seanchaibear, tanaise, technopagan, two_star, and wintersweet are all folks I know through Tamson House.

darkerdays most likely found me through kellinator, who I met through the English Department at Emory, but really know as a result of LJ.

darkmattr and edie22 I know through 'song in real life, of course.

heman I know thanks to Kellinator. Everyone should read his journal.

laurel ran the first listserv I ever belonged to that felt like a true community, and was the person who gave me my LJ referral code.

micks I found as a result of 'song finding him, and I suspect he found me as a result of my showing up in his friends list.

But that leaves three of you who added me without knowing anything about me. So I'm curious, for blue_kitty121, lacaba (who did mention the common interest in '80s music), and sexyshrooma, what about my journal (or me) was so interesting? That's not to put you on the spot, of course -- if you'd rather not answer, that's cool. I'm just curious.

I found you by sheer luck. I clicked on "random" and found your journal. I liked your posts and wanted to get to know you better. I added you to my friends list (These are the journals I read) and when you posted about something I could respond to, I did! I hope you don't mind!!!

ok, so i was browsing random journals one day, just looking for interesting people. and i ended up on yours, and i think the post was something about elayna (sorry if i spelt it wrong) and how you were getting used to being her father figure, and i thought it was real sweet that a guy could care that much about a little girl that wasn't his, i know so many guys that dont even take an interest in their own kids, that the thought of a guy caring about someone else's kid was astonishing, and you really do seem to be an awesome guy :)

How is TH these days? I was lurking for a time then departed in horror after a few nasty flare-ups. If it's calmed down, I might come back.

It's been pretty calm recently, although I have to admit I've been deleting more mail from T-H than I've been reading.But that's got more to do with time-management issues than anything else.
