Dude. Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler in the next X-Men movie. Damned fine casting (especially since he'll get the accent right), even if he'll obviously be one of the older X-men.

I looked this guy up on the Internet Movie Database, because his name didn't ring any bells -- I've seen a couple of films he's been in, but he didn't make an impression. It said he was born in Scotland ... hope he can do a German accent. (He played a Russian in a Bond film, though, so it's possible.)

Is the unknown actor playing Pyro the same guy who played him in the first film? Because I had the impression that the pyrokinetic kid Iceman was competing with for Rogue's affections was supposed to be Pyro.

Alan Cummings was the guy in Josie and the Pussycats that was the smarmy agent, Right? I like his name.

and NightCrawler? heh. I've read some REALLY interesting slash with him and iceman. heh. it makes me giggle just thinking about his tail.

He's good with accents in general. His best roles that come to mind are Josie and the Pussycats (really underrated and mismarketed-- I'm serious) and Spy Kids.

The guy everyone thought was Pyro appears not have been, according to chud.com.

(I used to want to be Iceman when I was growing up, so I'm damned protective of his character).
Now, those who thought that the relationship between Logan and his "fuzzy elf" was closer than they let on might be onto something. . .
