The letter was in my mailbox at work. It was from Devry.
MBA from a good school. Sure.
Folks, in the current market, an MBA from a top-thirty school (like, say, Emory, which was #28 last year in the Businessweek rankings) is just about worthless.
Hell, an MBA from a top five, like Fuqua at Duke, might not be worth the time spent on earning it.
And yet Devry, which doesn't even crack the top 250, sends out a letter implying that they are a "good" B-school.
Just goes to show you -- junk snail mail can be as interesting as junk spam.
