More to the point, blame it on his post over here. Because when I went to Publix that night, I had to pick up a can of Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray. I mean, the good Doctor makes the best Cream Soda on the market, and his Black Cherry Soda is worth going to war over, so I figured after seeing such a lofty recommendation of Cel-Ray (and having my usual adventurous eating habits), I should try it.
And I finally drank it at lunch today.
It's good. Damned good. Yes, it does taste like celery. Which is impressive, since celery tastes like nothing, and this drink has a distinct flavor. But this manages to taste both sweet and celeryesque at the same time. It's a bit overly sweet for me. Dunnot if I'd want it on a regular basis. But it's a nice treat. Not up there with the other Dr. B drinks, but still quite tasty.
Anyway, Atlanta folks can find this at the Toco Hills Kroger and the Toco Hills Publix.
