Oh, I also won a dinner triangle last week (just what it sounds like -- it's a triangle you ring to call folks in to dinner). edie22 luck must be contagious.

lol... i REALLY have a caffeine problem, because that's NOT what i thought of when you said, "dinner triangle." i was thinking of some strange trading-off-dinner-dates fundraiser gift thing... oh dear. *blush*

i hate when that happens. Lizard is supposedly gonna be shipping my bass and stuff from the road as he and Opus and Mrs Lizard drive cross-country to GenCon -- and guaranteed i won't be here when it arrives...

a mailbox is useful

The address that I publish everywhere is actually a mailbox at a place called The Home Office.
This has multiple benefits including that he can accept packages anytime they'd be dropped off.
Others include that only Cindy or I can pick up the mail and that I don't have to worry about joe random looking up my address and showing up at my house.
I do have to go pick it up rather than it being at my house but I'm willing to pay that price.

That won't work too well for me, I'm afraid, just because we only have the one car and one license (I don't drive), and shadesong hates driving. But as privacy becomes more of a concern, I may take that route.
