I don't care if it never gets a single post. The idea that there are no communities dedicated to Roger Zelazny is just wrong. So I created one. It's damnation_alley (because "Amber" was already taken, of course). Feel free to join. :-)

I joined 'cause I love the Amber books, but to be honest, I've yet to find one of his other books that I've liked... Anyway, I'm all signed up, but there's no way you're gonna get me to make the first post. :)

Well, I've made the first post! What other books of his have you tried?

Let me think... The first one I read was If At Faust... back in jr. high, and I hate hate hated it. Which is why it took me 'til jr. year of college to read the Amber books at the urging of the brilliant corruptviridian. Then I tried Eye of Cat, I think, though I've forgotten all of it, and another one, that just seemed too old. Like, it would have been fabulous pre-internet. I can't, however, recall which it was (and it's in PA, and I'm in VA.) Do you suggest any I should try?

Uck. I hated the Faust books. Drek. I blame Sheckly for them. :-) Try Jack of Shadows, or Night in the Lonesome October, my two favorites.
