My daughter loves those things. She's gotten herself on their mailing list. She won't send them money, but they keep sending her tracts...

I love the Chick parody that Kurtz of PVP did a while back. It was really fucking funny -- better than some of the stuff he's turning out these days, actually.

I can't read Jack Chick stuff for more than two minutes at a time because I start getting angry. That kind of hate-filled, poisonous garbage is enough to warp minds. Sad, really.

I have the same problem you do -- much as I love to make fun of the cheesiness of the stuff, I know that the books are actually being used by hatemongers, and it makes it harder to appreciate.
