So, I haven't been online much because I've been lying on the couch, in pain. My calf is seriously not happy with me right now, due to the various crouching other awkward positions assumed during cleaning this weekend. We do not, as far as I can tell, have any ace bandages in the house, either.

The worst part is, the sun is now shining at such an angle that I can't watch any more TIVO, either. Feh.

On the occasions when I get muscle pains - thankfully less often now than I used to - I've found an essential oil blend called Olbas oil to be very useful rubbed into the muscle. It combines Cajuput, Clove, Eucalyptus Oil, Juniper Berry Oil, Menthol, Dementholised Mint, and Wintergreen. Olbas is a brand, it seems, so you might be able to get it from a pharmacy or health shop over there?

Tiger Balm! Tiger Balm! Tiger Balm!
Adam, do you have any? And I have a constrictive knee bandage - like an ace knee brace - that would go around your calf, if you think it would help.

Yes, tiger balm is wonderful for strains etc. And tea and sympathy (OK, I can't actually provide the tea)...
