Happy 2003!
Jan. 1st, 2003 11:04 amSo, last night was fun --
blueingenue,
libidoergosum,
bheansidhe, and
vidicon were all here, and we spent the time watching movies and eating (mmmm, shrimp) and just talking (spent at least an hour trying to cast the Transmet movie). I conked out sometime 2ish, and, judging from LJ, the pseudo-party continued for another hour or two.
Today, I've already had two phone calls from Elayna (the first to wish us a happy new year and then to ramble on about everything else for half an hour, the second, an hour later, to tell me that she also saw the Wild Thornberrys movie, and that it was great and that we should get the DVD when it comes out), taken care of dishes and other cleaning from last night (I'd still like to know how the oven mitts ended up soaking in the sink), and watched the new Space Ghost: Coast to Coast from last night. Which was wretched. Vile. Fucking awful. I mean, why bring the show back at all for an episode like that? Ick.
And I've made another resolution: I'm sick of being out of International Delight French Vanilla Creamer (the little one-shot packets). I've gone nearly two weeks without. There are some crosses man was just not meant to bear. So I'm off to Kroger. Yay for stores that are open on holidays!
