buffy/angel thoughts/spoilers

Just had an epiphany about the role Faith may play on the shows. Warning: this comes from reading the spoiler sites for Angel, and will spoil some stuff for January and February.



So, the last set of Angel spoilers I've seen end with Faith getting bitten by Angelus sometime in February. No word on whether she gets turned or not.

But I was thinking (always a dangerous act, I know):

We know Faith will be on Buffy after her run on Angel.

And we know about the Buffy formula.

So. What if the First is the Little Bad, and a vampiric Faith is the Big Bad?

May not amount to anything, but I like the idea (and I haven't seen it speculated anywhere else yet).

I dunno -- since the shows are on separate networks, could they get away with having such a critical event span the two networks?

Well, Joss has already said that whatever happens with Faith on Angel will propel her onto Buffy. And the WB head has given his permission for Angel himself to appear on the Buffy finale if it's SMG's last show. So who knows?

Hmmm, then it's possible, yeah. I had a feeling that the network people were being very snotty about the shows being on opposite networks -- maybe there were more restrictions on Angel content than on Buffy content.
