Four meetings later
Feb. 19th, 2003 04:12 pmWell, three actually. Meeting #1 was a coffee meeting with Carole to talk about all sorts of shit. Ended up running until well after 10, so I missed our team meeting, which isn't a shame, since I think weekly meetings suck ass.
Third meeting was the presentation about image database software, and was okay, but I was so fucking tired, I almost fell asleep at least three times.
Fourth meeting was the one I dreaded (I could watch the obnoxious manager from Tech Services destroy our relationship with the company we need to work with), but it was scheduled against the training session I had to give for faculty. Damn. :-) The session went well. They always do. For all that my training sessions basically work without a net, I'm just a damned good instructor, and FirstClass is easy for faculty to learn. So I was on a high afterwards, at least.
Oh, and after the training, a cute lady came up to tell me that I was awesome.
Sure, it's totally out of context, but it's still nice. :-)
And now, the high has worn off, and I'm back to being tired. Good thing it's almost time to leave.
