Why I love Professor Newby

One of my favorite professors here is Gordon Newby (who, in spite of his name, has no problems with tech things or forums). In a recent email about some work-related stuff, he signed off

Hope you are well and I hope that the "Passover Possum" brings you all the goodies you are asking for.


To which I replied,

Passover Possum? Does he battle the Easter Bunny on PPV?


His response:

Having already done in Mothra and King Ghidora, the Passover Possum seeks to make the initials PPV stand for Passover Possum Victorious!

Go Matzoh Power!!!!!

All professors should have this attitude. And he's multiple-time department chair, not a new instructor.

Hm.... I'd like to see the story of the Passover Possum, and how he keeps a bit of afikomen in his pouch, and comes out at night to bring horseradish to all the good manly boys with faces that need more color....

Ok, I'm not Jewish, I'm Christian, but that was SOOOO Funny!! You need to write a comic about The Adventures of The Passover Possum!!! What I know of Passover is cool, but this would be too damn funny!! Whatcha think?
