So, I was wandering around the Toco Hills shopping center to kill time while Elayna was in Karate, I passed the used CD store (Ella Guru, for other Atlanta folks), and saw that there was a major sidewalk sale. Tons of $1 and $2 cds! I showed restraint (mainly because I didn't have time to really dig through the bins), and walked away with only 5 CDs:

Heather Nova, South (which I hadn't realized was finally released last year)
A Tribute to NoFX (no one big on the tribute, but they're starting with good material, so I've got high hopes for the CD).
The Scrubs soundtrack (which had been on my wishlist, even).
Moxy Früvous, You Will Go to the Moon (the one CD of theirs I still needed).

and

Edie Brickell, Picture Perfect Morning.

With tax, that cost me $6.42.

I'm really looking forward to taking Elayna to karate tomorrow. :-)

Heather Nova has a new one out? Shows ya how much I've been paying attention.

Cheap CD's sure do rock. I've checked out that CD store. They are most groovescent. Have picked up some Type O there.

I find myself shopping for CD's at pawn shops alot. You tend to find really obscure stuff. A lot of local bands too. And usually they're 1.00 or lower.

Peace
