yendiDidn't really update other than on Sunday. So, for those wondering:
On Saturday, we took Elayna to see The Lizzie McGuire Movie, because we'd promised. It wasn't as good as the tv show, alas (in fact, the fact that some of the best supporting characters in the show failed to appear in the movie was one of the disappointments), but it was a pretty solid movie, as such things go. Cute in all the right places, and a decent enough message ("Don't trust Italian Pop Stars."). Not bad, but not worth wasting time on unless you have a daughter who insists on seeing it.
Sunday, I've already chronicled. The rest of the day was spent lounging around the house, teaching Elayna to play Clue, and then playing Blood Bowl (at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jet_li_wannabe's, without Elayna, of course).
Yesterday, we packed much of Elayna's stuff for FLA. I'm already starting to miss her. She picked out three Miyazaki DVDs, as well as Lilo and Stich and Beany and Cecil. I'm so happy she likes those -- Clampett is up there with Ward in the Great Cartoon Pantheon, imho.
She then picked the 1960's era Batman movie to watch that afternoon, out of all the DVDs in the house. We've got a goofy kid.
And now, I've got her in my office, on Marisa's computer, playing a Dexter game on Cartoon Network's site. She loves coming in here. :-)
