I spent a good portion of the weekend enjoying my Futurama DVD set. I not only watched (and loved) all the episodes, but I also watched each one with the commentary track (by Matt Groening,, David X. Cohen, and a host of others). This DVD is why commentary tracks are worthwhile (and they're much stronger on tv shows than movies, imho, simply from an attention-span pov). From easter-egg revelations to studio memories to nifty technical details, the commentary tracks were all just a blast to listen to.

taraljc's entry over here, which is the best argument in favor of ordering Showtime that I've ever heard.
Oh, and Firefly is now available for preorder on DVD! As is Buffy Season 5. Yep, I've updated my wishlist.
Interestingly, Fox's Firefly site is still up. Kind of a depressing memorial for the show.
Finally, Slate (which, since it's owned by MSN, couldn't possibly have an ulterior motive for their story, could they?) has an article on the flaws of Google. Conflict of interest aside, there are some valid points there.
