Good Morning sunshine
Jul. 23rd, 2003 10:28 amRain. Motherfucking rain. I walked up to Briarcliff and Lavista before the skies opened up, which meant that I could stand under the church porch when the rain started. But just from walking from the church to the bus (with an open umbrella) twenty minutes later, my clothes and shoes got completely soaked. The bus actually took ten minutes to get up the hill at the beginning of Clifton Road, the flooding was so bad.
Of course, once I got to Emory, the rain had stopped. Atlanta, go figure.
We watched the third ep of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy last night (in a room with three straight guys, five women, and no queer guys). I wonder if they realize how far beyond their targeted demographics this show goes?
Oh, and since at least three of you have asked holiday gift-giving questions, I figured I'd post a link to what you can get me. I'd like one of these.

For those on a budget, you can find a link to my wishlist on my userinfo page.
As for work, it's going okay today. EOL is back on track, mostly. We've found a workaround for the fact that all browsers use different fucking "standards," and the only remaining bugs are in the least important areas of the CD. So we'll see how this beta cycle goes.
Oh, and for those of you who aren't reading
