Morning events
Jul. 25th, 2003 09:00 amGood event of the morning: Tivo brought me a surprise episode of Keen Eddie to watch. Happy thoughts about Sienna Miller and Rachael Buckley. And the show itself is just a hell of a lot of fun. Of course, like any brilliant show on Fox, it's been aired out of order, and is going on hiatus with five unaired episodes. It's a fucking Fox tradition.
Bad event of the morning: Jack once again attempted to jump on my lap, and missed. By a lot. I've now got a nifty 1.5 inch scar on my right thigh.
Ugly event of the morning: I got a snippy passive aggressive response from the head of the beta testers when I actually asked for some fucking responses on the final release candidate of EOL. They should realize that finding bugs does, in the end, save their own asses (since they're the ones who'll have to take the helpdesk calls).
Pimping event of the morning #1:
theninjakitten has started a community called
active_progress. To quote the founder: " It's a place for reporting, encouraging, and fostering everyday grassroots progressive activism." I've joined, and I suspect it's up more than a few of your alleys, as well.
Pimping event of the morning #2: Tomorrow is Blogathon. And
shadesong is blogging for RAINN.
vidicon is blogging for The Association for International Cancer Research. Both are thoroughly good causes (and clicking on the links will give info about Blogathon in general).
Anticipation of the morning: In less then two weeks, Season One of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friendswill be released on DVD! I will be owning this the day it is released. Moose and Squirrel will be mine!
Breakfast of the morning: Amy's Breakfast Burrito. Yum.
Time of the morning to actually get work done: Now.
