Hmm, going into production in first quarter 2004... probably means we won't see it until summer 2005, even if they fast track it. Ah well, I can wait for Firefly goodness.

Wheeeeee! I'm so excited that I'll probably forget about it in a couple of weeks and start lamenting the fact that there's no more Firefly and nothing as good being released this year.

Yay!

Although I have to say I wish he would grace us with another series. I think he's gifted enough to be more than a one trick pony. Whedon could probably deliver another innovative concept for television, which I think is more his arena. But whatever, I'm looking forward to it.

Dang, any more good news today and I might lose control or something. (The boss just told me to spec a new color printer for the workgroup.) Request permission to Cabbagepatch sir?

Cool beans. It will be interesting to see how Joss does on the big screen.

I loved that show SO MUCH. I think I realized *just how good* it was going to be when, at the end of the first episode I ever saw, (making this as un-spoilery as possible) the good guy had the bad guy at his mercy.. tied up and harmless... and the bad guy vowed revenge... so the good guy killed him.

This is not something we tend to see in American television/cinema. The good guys don't get to kill the bad guys until they've been properly offered amnesty, and accepted, and waited until the white hats turn their backs to whip out the hidden throwing dagger or the little pistol from the ankle-holster.

It was so wonderful to see a hero with that kind of.. practicality.

My friend Brad says "A society has the morals that it can afford." Or, as I read somewhere once, "Idealism lives with rules. Realism lives with rocks."

Now, we must have a _Farscape_ movie!

Also, oddly enough, my boyfriend's copy of the _Angel_ season 2 boxed DVD set arrived just an hour ago. Kismet.

Bad news in my opinion. It will tank at the box office and it will suck up all of Joss' time. So we can kiss Angel goodbye at the end of next year.

Oh, well, I am spending more time reading and writing anyways.

This is so cool. I was afraid from the beginning that the series wouldn't make it, so I downloaded every episode. I even got the original unaired pilot (bad avi, but definitely better than the version that aired late in the season) The unaired episodes are the only ones I couldn't find.

I hope they get the cast back...
