beagledance -- Respectively, I like 'em, and I'd never heard of it, but having now done a web search, I must go sometime!
softlywhispered -- I could write a book on that one. It had better characters, the story arc was crisply defined, the tech was believable, the vision was grand, and because it isn't some deep space franchise, it's about something! Oh, and because Ivanova is god.
ldy -- Chaotic Fish.
phinnia -- I'm not (and neither is she, incidentally), but I have been close to it (I was veggie except for fish and the occasional piece of bacon, which I still say is a stealth vegetable), in the past. I'm currently pretty close to middle-of-the-road omnivorous right now.
