Wondering what our daughter is planning.

When she bought me a jellybean machine for my birthday a few years ago, she kept telling me that she couldn't tell me what it was (no, I wasn't asking!), but that she hoped I liked jellybeans. Yeah. That's her idea of subtle.
So I'm curious, because after reading a few more pages in her current book last night (The School Story by Andrew Clements), she told me that she had a great plan. But she couldn't tell me or Mommy, ever.
Well, the thing is, I know what the big secret in the book is (no spoilers, since it's on the cover), and it's that the main character writes a book and then gets it sold to her editor mother under a pen name. Since neither

I suspect that when she finishes the book (and the mother finds out who wrote the book -- not a spoiler, since I'm just guessing here), she'll decide to tell us. :-)
