jerel, in which she found out that a review of hers from Amazon had been swiped, I did some browsing, and quickly found at least one swipe of one of my reviews. It's my review of The Gumshoe, the Witch, and the Virtual Corpse, which originally appeared in Rambles. They took my review, lopped off the first paragraph, and published it under the name John M Kahane. I don't know if he works at the store or not. I'm giving the store the benefit of the doubt, and have asked them politely to remove it. But god help this little bitch Kahane if I ever encounter him.
phantom_wolfboy (and any other Ontario-based folks), do you know anything about this place?

Given two instances of plagarism, I wouldn't bother sending the store hate mail. I would send Cyberus a DMCA notice, demanding shutdown of the entire site, and remind them that Dubya really doesn't give a good goddamn about international borders, that pax americana is the law of the universe, and that the Third Infantry Division will be arriving in 48 hours.
Or something like that.
I took the liberty of contacting the RCMP; we'll see where it goes.

Talk to an Ontario Lawyer about suing the twit and the store he works for; more than likely he's not just an employee, I'll be he has some sort of social or familial connection.
Last I heard, Canada respects international copyright; you as the author, hold that copyright from the date you posted the review.
