Links, hollywood and political
Jan. 27th, 2004 11:40 amGinger Snaps 2, the trailer (big and SLOW):
Mark Evanier on the potential for a new Hollywood Writer's Strike, and the various issues that make both sides rather fucked up.
Time Magazine on the current state of prescription drugs, and why things suck so much (full story only viewable if you subscribe, but it's worth buying the current issue for this story).
The New Yorker on the "State of the Union" address (quotes mine, since he rarely stayed on topic): But “Mars,” “the moon,” and “space” are not the only words missing in action from the State of the Union. So are “unemployment,” “AIDS,” and “the environment.”
And over in Colorado, they apparently think that college students are really really really really stupid and unable to think for themselves.
Anyway, off to lunch.
