Night on the Town

One of the problems with having neither a long commute, nor a good radio in the house, is that I'm woefully out of the NPR loop. Tonight, thanks to glenn5, I'm aware of A Night on the Town, an NRP show that plays nothing but broadway tunes for an hour each week. I must make a point of listening to this show.

It's fantastic. I posted about it a month or three ago. I love me some George Harter. Subject matter completely aside, he puts the show together really well. And for a hetero male, I sure do love that music too.

It's just like Marketplace - I'm not all that interested in business and stock market news, but Marketplace is a hell of a great radio show. I'm sure glad there's still good radio out there. Seriously.

The little guy /loves/ NPR. We have it on all the time. And that sounds like a great show. It's not on our affiliate, I'll have to catch one of the streams.
