Anyone else remember John M. Ford's story/poem, "Troy, the Movie"? Just wondering how faithful Peterson's adaptation of it was.

Grimjack is coming back! Between this and the return of American Flagg, this is a good year for old-school First fans. Keep your fingers crossed for a DVD of the Sable TV series.

(Um, just kidding. Good as the comic was, the series sucked ass).

And Peter David is writing a five-issue series called Madrox, also featuring PAD X-Factor alums Wolfsbane and Strong Guy! Alas, Joe Quesada (artist on PAD's original X-Factor run) won't be drawing it, but the guy they've got looks pretty talented.

Van Helsing is pretty much assured of breaking $100 Million now. Fuck you all.

In DVD news, we're getting a special edition of The Mangler, complete with unrated footage (ooh, who wants to see an evil possessed laundry machine with its clothes off?). We're also getting Season 1 of Land of the Lost, which sounds a lot more appealing.

Packing is going well. My ex-roomie's mom just moved down here, and he dropped off about fifty boxes yesterday, so we can hold off on scrounging for boxes for a while now.

Yesterday involved heading to Javamonkey with [livejournal.com profile] raptorgirl and [livejournal.com profile] angrvixen, where we hung out with lots of fun folks.

I'm very behind on email, and falling further behind each day. I owe a lot of you emails, and I'll get to them sometime this week. Work and a move make everything else really hard to find time for.

Although I did find time for last night's Deadwood. Damn, I like that show.

I am so glad they've decided to do Land of the Lost as three separate box sets. I've been looking forward to this for so long.

Van Helsing makes a lot more sense when you see the animated prequel, IMO.

Strong Guy is back?

Great, I always thought they blew Guido off.

Word! I *love* Jamie Maddrox. He and Guido always seemed like the perfect match to me. I miss that run of X-Factor...
