Back from DC

yendiWell, as you probably gathered from that last post, I'm back in Atlanta.
Had a very nice lunch (mmm, crepes) with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ariadnesthread and erinpoetchica. I hadn't seen ariadnesthread in two or three years, and the only time I'd met erinpoetchica was a run-by-hugging a number of years ago. It was good to actually sit and chat with them for a while. After lunch, we headed towards the Metro, but were distracted by a used book store, so we all had to spend money. But we all resisted spending money on the really expensive things we couldn't afford. Really.
'twas a good day, even if I then had to say goodbye.
The flight back was mostly uneventful, for once. Aside from the stupid no-standing within half an hour of DC rule (really sucks when you drink an extra-large coffee right before getting on the plane). Hopped on Marta, and was home in time to seeshadesong at the halfway point of the Blog-a-thon. Saw Museumfreak and two of her friends (whose names completely escape me now), and chatted for a while before heading to bed.
At some point, I'll have to compile a list of the books I bought in DC. Managed to spend money in four out of the five bookstores I was in (not counting museum stores). Go me. :-)
