Have you ever wondered which comic characters Sebastian "Skid Row/Gilmore Girls" Bach would have an orgy with, if he could? Turns out he'd go for Valkyrie, Cherry Poptart, Gwen Stacy, and Reed Richards (the question insisted that there had to be a man involved). Get that image and more into your head at this interview.
Speaking of things that make me say "holy shit," IBM is dropping out of the PC business.
If I lived in the DC area, I'd so be going here this weekend.
Last night's Tivo included the Paris Hilton South Park (it's been ages since Wendy's gotten the spotlight), last week's Smallville (yeah, we're behind), and Drawn Together. Loved the spin the bottle game ("hey, if you're going to be gay about this. . .").
I somehow failed to realize that Crusade was getting a DVD release next week. I don't have the same love for it that I did for B5 (JMS clearly had only one great work in him, as his recent Spider-crap shows), but it was still fun. And the cast -- Gary Cole, Daniel Dae Kim, Peter Woodward, and David Allen Brooks, especially -- was a blast. Even if we ignore the Tracy Scoggins factor. Not a great show, but it had the potential to become one.
Finally, Chris Columbus will be directing the Sub-Mariner movie! Finally, a return to the Marvel movie-making heyday of the late-'80s/early '90s, when Marvel flicks were synonymous with "suck." Columbus's entire directorial career, of course, is the apotheosis of craptastic.
