FoodTV is considering canceling Essence of Emeril, and replacing it with a new show, Evanescence of Emeril. On the new show, we can expect to see Legasse "Kick it up a notch" and show off such recipes as "My Immortal Cheesecake." His new catch-phrase will be "Bam! That oughtta Bring You to Life!"

(Hey, tt couldn't be any worse than Emeril's current show, and Amy Lee would sure kick the theme music up a notch)
